Azhar Toronto custom mugs

My second time working with the wonderful team at Gusto for Azhar Toronto, a new cafe in the Queen and Ossington area. These mugs were made using an agate clay technique in a white and red clay to create unique striations. The blue glaze was carefully selected to co-ordinate with the colours in the cafe. You can see the agate pattern through the glaze while the bottom is earthy and tactile. The space is a treat but unfortunately they aren't open for in-person dining just yet. They do however have a marketplace open which I highly recommend you check out if you are in the area. Those potato buns...yum!!
